The Christmas bauble or ball ornament is one of the most popular Christmas ornament design since 1840s. Baubles originated in Germany by Hans Greiner. Later in the mid-19th century, Queen Victoria brought them to Europe. Modern baubles are typically made of plastic, which allows cheaper manufacturing and makes them affordable for everyone, but were originally quite expensive as they were hand-crafted and made of glass, and were therefore only for the rich. Some baubles are also made of cloth or silk-like textile. We have some of them in rich red and green colors. Most of the original designs are plain in color, but today, we’ll try and decorate your baubles by following these Christmas bauble cover beading patterns!
